30. Consistency

Let Me Walk with You
I want to talk about consistency today. And I want to talk about it because maintaining consistency in all of the things that are important to me is something I've fought with for a very long time. Which, you must agree, sounds awful. Like, why can't I continuously present myself that way for myself if it actually important to me? Why? I just can't keep up with it, so why do I put what I need to do for myself, sort of, on the back burner?
“We put these ridiculous time limits on ourselves. That's what we do. We put them on ourselves. No one else is telling us there's a time limit for us to better ourselves, for us to lose weight for us to get healthy. There's no one's telling us there's a time limit. But we are. And we're so stuck on that. ”
